Welcome Mr. Scheppler to Mound View!  He will be student teaching with Mr. Chisholm for 9 weeks! The 3rd grade students are enjoying learning about fun basketball games they can play at recess! We are always finding ways to be physically active because as Mr. Chisholm always says, "KEEP MOVING"!

4th Grade Art

Fourth graders have been creating a Gothic Window style painting.  They have learned how to mix analogous colors.

Assessing in Music

The last couple weeks we have been working getting grades in music to send home with our report cards. We show what we know with not only composing on worksheets and playing instruments, but we play other games too. 

Third graders were showing off which notes they could remember on a giant staff. 

They were also singing patterns using a game on the SmartBoard. 

Early Childhood Music

This year our Early Childhood students are getting some time making music. This week in class they created egg shakers and learned that putting different things inside the shaker created different sounds. After they finished their shakers they conducted their class using stoplight color cards. (red=stop, yellow=slow, green=play)
